As a valued customer, we are pleased to give you the opportunity to take the saddle you have selected on trial for a period of five (5) days. We require a credit card authorization for the full amount of the saddle plus tax. If you decide to keep your saddle, please contact the store as soon as possible. If you decide to return the saddle please notify the store that you are shipping it back, what method you are using to ship back, and provide a tracking #.
All saddles must be insured for their full value when being shipped.
Once the saddle is returned your authorization will drop off.
You will be charged for the full amount of the saddle if it is not returned by the due date or if we have not received your notification of a return. In the event that damage has occurred to the saddle while in your possession, you will be charged for the saddle.

To ensure that our saddles remain looking as new as possible, we ask that you adhere to a few simple requests:

1. Please do not clean or oil the saddle.
2. Protect the saddle from stirrup leather marks by wrapping the leathers with clear plastic wrap, nylons, or socks with the toes cut open.
3. A brief ride is allowed for you to ensure the fit of the saddle to you and your horse. Please do not ride for long periods of time.
4. Please do not ride in full chaps or jeans as they could create rub marks.
5. Please do not try light colored saddles in tall black boots or half chaps.
6. Please contact the store as soon as you decide whether to keep the saddle or return it.

Our staff is educated in proper saddle fit for horse and rider and will be able to help guide you to choosing the right saddle for you. Please call or email us for help.

Due to the nature of saddles and their fit, not all models may be available immediately. Store stock may be used to fit your horse and yourself and then the proper size seat and tree may be ordered for you, if needed. Some saddle size combinations are available ONLY by special order!

Please allow extra time for these. Please refer to the La Saddlery Trial Policy for any questions regarding the care of your saddle while trying it. You will be required to "sign" a copy and return it to LA Saddlery prior to us shipping the saddle to you for trial. All specially ordered saddles are FINAL SALE! No exceptions.
